Millfields Trust Celebrates Ten Years of Success with City Business Event
The Millfields Trust is celebrating ten years of outstanding achievement at a special business exhibition that they are hosting this month, giving their tenants the opportunity to showcase themselves at the exhibition – for free.
Since they began trading, the Millfields Trust has provided cost-effective, lease-free business units for over 50 local companies which range from an internet based furniture retailer to a local catering company. The Millfields Trust is a ‘not for profit’ organisation, this means that all profits are ploughed back in to support the economic development of Stonehouse, the area they serve.
The exhibition will be taking place at Plymouth Albion RFC on Wednesday 18 th November.
Matthew Cross from the Plymouth City Development Corporation will be guest speaker at a special business lunch that will also be a key part of the day’s events.
Roger Pipe, the Millfields Trust General Manager said; “We are thrilled to be putting on such a high-profile event to celebrate our anniversary. Our operation has grown significantly since 1999, we also have ambitious plans for the future that we are very excited about. We are delighted to be giving our tenants a chance to showcase themselves for free in front of many of the key business people from the city; they will be able to meet a number of people who could help their own business on the day.”
The event will be open to invitees only between 11am-2pm but open to the general public between 2pm-6pm.
