14 Feb 09 - Fuel Shortlisted for the Annual Media Innovation Awards
Everybody at Fuel is really excited by the news of our shortlisting in the branding category at the annual Media Innovation Awards. Our work with ParkCentral clearly stood out amongst a record number of entries. 143 entries were received for the region’s premier awards ceremony recognising the contribution of creative companies.
The ParkCentral project clearly impressed the judging panel for the very popular branding category leading Fuel’s creative director Dave Smith to comment: “To receive a shortlisting for such a prestigious award is a real achievement for the company. The judges were looking for innovative branding and that is what we are all about.
Terri Reeves and I worked closely with ParkCentral owner Sarah Lock on the project so they both deserve a great deal of credit for playing such an important part in making ParkCentral such an attractive brand to the judges.”
Karen Stockdale of the Media Innovation Awards said: “The judges really had their work cut out deciding which entries to shortlist. The quality of the entries was very high and the fact that entries came from all over the region shows that the South West is a centre of excellence for media and design.”
The winners will be announced at a gala award ceremony to be held at Bristol City’s FC Ashton Gate stadium on Thursday 12 March 2009.
