Leading Plymouth accountancy firm Mark Holt & Co has completed a major coup with the recruitment of a highly rated audit and accountancy professional. Simon Law has joined the firm, and its business development sister company Healium LLP, bringing with him over 16 years experience at top UK firms such as a PKF and Ernst & Young.
Simon is a Chartered Accountant who spent his early school years at Plymouth College before going on to study business economics at Salford University . He qualified with a medium sized practice in Hertfordshire where he spent nine years before joining Ernst & Young in central London where he was a member of the Entrepreneurial Services team. Simon remained in central London but moved back to a medium sized pratice where he was quickly promoted to partner. His firm merged with national firm PKF and Simon became part of their Real Estate Group where he was involved with business development initiatives within the sector.
During his distinguished career he has worked with a wide range of clients with turnovers ranging from £100k to £200m. Simon expertise includes audits, cash flow forecasts and projections, management accounts production, due diligence and business advise within a number of sectors including sectors include IT, telecoms, technology, real estate, education, construction, engineering, manufacturing, solicitors.
